Unfortunately for her, she received devastating news that made her vow never to touch her heart with anyone. With a painful past, Cristina grew up in a foster home where she dreamed of becoming a famous model and working for the renowned Carolina Guillén. During the presentation of Carolina's new clothing line, Carlos had the opportunity to speak with a prominent businesswoman. When he broke the news to his mother that her designs would be available in a prominent New York store, she was overjoyed.
